Mr. Silverstein,

What a wonderful article, although I must tell you, I’m a bit partial. The Dave you are speaking about is my son. I am proud to say that. David, as we call him, has always been a service minded young man and devouted to relationships. Thank you for noticing and speaking so highly of him and is job. He also served our country in the U.S. Marines and is currently working at MicroCenter, going to school full time & raising a family with his wife! Your article warmed a mom’s heart!!!

Greetings from Calgary Sam…there’s still some snow ‘in them thar mountains’, hope you can join us next winter again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the interview and perspective on Ted Kennedy. He and Jack (whom I got to meet) are still some of my very favorite people.You came across with ‘passion’ in the interview.

As a father, I’m sure you can proudly say that your daughter did one heck of a job by putting the symposium together. I look forward to hearing more at NSA in Anaheim if you plan to attend.

Most of the speakers I have listened to talk about creating a vision for ourselves so that our journey becomes clear. However, Sam speaks about values which gives his speech a different twist.
Our decisions must be based on values and I would like to challenge Sam’s readers to follow his guidance and ask yourselves: What are my values? What do I stand for? How are my values shown in any of my decisions at home and at work?
